24 Independent & Free Press,Thursday, May 6, 2010 Rebels confident of recording win in final three games Continued from pg. 23 "We can be contenders in this league. I thought we hit a lot harder today and had more courage, but (the Eagles) have been practising since Christmas and they seem to have more depth. But we held our own." Mitch Racinsky, Devon Bulizo-Pellart and Jason Henschel recorded the GDHS tries Monday. The Rebels have three matches remaining-- all away from home-- but are still confident they can get into the win column and avoid a first-round playoff matchup with 3-0 OakvilleTrafalgar, which defeated GDHS 52-3 in the season opener. In girls' action, the GDHS seniors defeated Loyola 1510 in their season opener, with tries coming from Laura Pett, Kerri Malcolm and Rebecca Cameron.
