MYAC art award winners The MYAC Art Competition is an opportunity for youth to showcase their artistic talents. This year there were more than 65 art submissions from students. Artwork was judged in two categories. The junior category included submissions completed by individuals in Grades 6-9 and the senior category were students from Grades 10-12. In each of the two categories award winners were selected by the Mayor, MYAC members and local artist Carole Warfield, the director of Georgetown Art Express. On this page and page 4 are the winners. Absent was GDHS student Kyra Thistle whose piece Fox & Lady won the Mayor's Choice senior category. 3 Celebrating Our Youth Thursday, May 13, 2010 SUMMER CAMPS Register for Summer Camp!
