Have you ever wondered about gifted testing but didn't know who to ask? Do you want to know how to keep up with your child's changing needs and better understand them? On Wednesday, May 26, the Halton Chapter of the Association for Bright Children of Ontario (ABC) will welcome Dr. Linda Rowden, a registered clinical psychologist who works with families to identify their child's profile of learning and to develop intervention and teaching strategies. She has extensive experience in assessment and treatment of children with additional specialized learning, attention and emotional needs. WALK for ALS helps to increase awareness of the disease, raise money for equipment and support services for those living with ALS, and garner funds towards research to find a cure. This event will be held 7-9 p.m. at Palermo United Church, 2521 Dundas St. W. Oakville (near northeast corner of Hwy 5 and Old Bronte Rd).
