The festival, which runs Saturday to Monday, will present a traditional array of family rides and attractions, highlighted by a spectacular three-night fireworks show that begins at 9:30 p.m. each night. If you've got a fireworks photo from this weekend's festival that you'd like to share, email it to us at tbrown@independentfreepress.com by noon on Tuesday, May 25. We'll publish a collection of them next Thursday. Make sure the photo is in jpeg format and high resolution (at least 5x7 and 200 dpi). Include the photographer's name and address and the night the photo was shot. Win a collection of Phat Boy Fireworks Harj Virk, of Phat Boy Fireworks, displays a crate of fireworks worth $550, which will be raffled off at his location on Guelph Street on Victoria Day (Monday). Between today and Monday, customers will be given a raffle ticket and the draw will take place at 3 p.m. Monday. Participants must be present to win. The location (beside 154 Guelph St.) will be open daily until Monday afternoon, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and offers all sorts of fireworks to meet everyone's needs. This marks the fifth year Virk has opened his fireworks stand in Georgetown.
