ENTERTAINMENT One Way releases CD to help end slavery Thousands of children in the world are sold into slavery with many ending up in the sex trade. Life for these kids means no holidays, no pay and no future, but six local youngsters are finding One Way to help. Grade 7 and 8 students Holly Girvan, Torri Huggins, Brittany Webster, Jonah Vetro, Vince Vetro and Sophia Vetro-- all members of the Georgetown Alliance Church's Junior Worship Band, make up the band, One Way. In December the group cut a CD called Freedom. The band is holding their CD release party on Friday (May 28) from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Georgetown Alliance Church on 290 Main St. S. One Way will play songs from their CD, interspersed with performances from guest musicians, Jordan Huggins, Anita Huggins, Megan Cameron, Jennifer Webster and Tim Alberts and comments from special guest speaker, Samantha Bourdon from the organization, Free the Children.
