St. John's Stewarttown to host Springtime for Haiti All are welcome to attend a special musical fundraiser to aid the victims of the Haiti earthquake on Sunday, June 13 at St. John's Anglican Church in Stewarttown. A few months ago, local piano teacher, Virginia Bagin approached St. John's to see if the church would be willing to host a musical fundraising event. More than 25 local children and youth will share their gifts of music, song, dance and fashion to help with the cause of helping Haiti in an event called Springtime Hopes for Haiti. Many well known songs will be presented. You will hear piano tunes, drums, guitar and much more! This fun event will start at 1:30 p.m. There will be a free will offering taken and a reception will be held following the event. Doris M'Timkulu from the Primates World Relief & Development Fund, will be present to give a brief update on the situation in Haiti. For further information call Barb, 905-873-6280.
