Gallery Julie Walsma-Hammer I would by no means call myself a professional photographer, more of an amateur. My love of photography started around 12 years ago when my daughter was born, during her first six months I shot thousands of pictures with tens of thousands more to follow. My first camera was an Olympus pocket-size digital, which changed to a Panasonic Lumix which very recently upgraded to an SLR Olympus E-620. I love to photograph everything and anything, especially my children in action, sun rises/sets, clouds, trees, animals and all that Mother Nature has to offer. I have had the honour of my work displayed and sold in a local gallery and I have won both honourable mention and first place in our local cottage association's yearly contests. My photos are not altered in any way, I print how and what the camera sees. You will always find me with a camera in hand, waiting for that memorable shot to be captured. My photos are available for sale. WANT YOUR PHOTOS IN GALLERY?: Gallery is always looking for photographers with a unique portfolio to be published in Sideroads of Halton Hills.
