The Big Daddy Festival has lots of activities for the toy loving Dad. Cars: Yes, these are the all time favourite toys, especially if they are old cars, expensive cars, or rare cars. You've got all day to admire them (7 a.m to 4 p.m., admission is $6 for adults) on June 20 at the Classics Against Cancer show in Cedarvale Park. Start off nice and early to leave time to head to Downtown Georgetown afterwards to be in the Daddy Long Legs competition, the street hockey tournament or to try your hand at arm wrestling. If you chicken out on these, sit down in the Chill Zone and enjoy some Steam Whistle brew and a big pulled pork sandwich. Anybody 19 or over can do that one. Motorcycles: Oh yeah, motorcycles... the forbidden fruit.Come and see hundredsof motorcycles, all makes and models, at the third annual Show & Shine Motorcycle Show at the Price Chopper plaza on Guelph Street in Georgetown. The show is held between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. You'll see classic bikes, new custom bikes and incredible paint jobs. A few police Harleys are usually on hand. There is no entrance fee to watch and you can even vote for your favourite bike. It was basically a few cars at a strawberry social and has grown to the great event it is today. This year all net proceeds from this event will go to the Childhood Cancer Campaign. Boats: Beaumont Mill Antiques & Collectibles, 586 Main St. in Glen Williams is hosting three boat activities on both June 19 and 20 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. At the "Boats for Folks" event four kids will build a 12' rowboat beginning Saturday morning. It will be ready to launch on Sunday afternoon. There will be opportunities for hands-on tool demonstrations and participation. The youth partner for this event is Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Halton Hills and Sheridan Nurseries is the generous sponsor. At the "Kidz Zone" Activity Centre, there will be a 10' x 20' pond, where kids up to age of 12 can build a 10" sailboat and sail it on the pond!
