Officers recovered two stolen 35foot tractor-trailer loads full of new tires. In total there were more than 760 tires valued at $129,000. Police say one load of tires had been stolen from a truck stop on Hwy. 401 near Cambridge and the other load sometime while enroute from Ontario to Beaumont, Quebec.
