Beatrice Sharkey, manager of the Halton Hills Cultural Roundtable, which organized the first annual festival in honour of fathers, said they "were thrilled with it." She said while they don't have festival attendance totals, the event attracted both local residents and out-oftowners. She said throughout the weekend they handed out more than 1,000 2010 Halton Hills Family Passports. Sharkey said popular events at the festival-- held in Acton, Georgetown, Glen Williams and Limehouse-- included the Battle of the Bands at the Acton Roxy Friday, the Movie in the Park Saturday evening and The Chill Zone and Street Stage Line-Up at the Festival on Main in Georgetown. Sharkey said the Try-it-Yourself workshops at the Williams Mill Visual Arts Centre in Glen Williams were also very busy. The 23rd annual Classics Against Hills Fire Department (Acton) gave it all he had but lost out to the Cancer Car Show was another big hit long arm of the law's Constable Taylor Meyer.
