The Glen Williams celebration has been an ongoing event in that hamlet for decades, said co-chairman of the organizing committee Daniel Edwards. "It's very family-oriented and it's a place where basically everything is free," said Edwards. He said there are a wide variety of children's activities, a parade and many other events throughout the day for people of all ages. Glen Williams events include: · 8 to 11 a.m.-- Pancake breakfast in the park put on by Glen Williams Minor Ball Association. · 10 a.m.-- Baseball game between the Townies (Glen residents) and Halton Hills councillors. All Glen adults are welcome to join. Sign-up will be at 9 a.m. at the ball diamond. · 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.-- There will be tot activities and fishpond, put on by St. John's Every year, Lana Lotocky (left) and Christiana Lemieux go all out with their Canada Day outfits. We can't wait to see what they come up with this year as Acton and Glen Williams get ready to party.
