The passion of the gale, The touch of soft caress, This is your life, No more, nor less. Your destiny the stars, Your home the endless space, Nor chains you know, Nor time, nor place. The stirring of the dawn, The whisper of the trees, Your gentle breath, That is the breeze. The mystics of the night, The low uncanny moon, The world asleep, And you alone. The ancient master brush, That works the sunset lure, That twight dims, To depths obscure. Your voice the song of storm, Of fragrant gentle sigh, That strikes the cord, Then bids goodbye.
