PET DEATH Purdie Doubt February 17th, 1995 - July 25th, 2010 Beloved pet of Eric Doubt and Cathy Champagne of 26 James Street. She never met a living thing she didn't like and everyone who knew her loved her. She was trained to bring in the mail and paper every day, put things in the blue box and retrieve slippers. Such a gentle, sweet soul, uncomplaining to the end, with a constantly wagging tail. We sometimes called her "Black Magic" or "Purdie the Wonder Dog" because she was so special. She lived to be a ripe old age and enjoyed every minute of her long life. Her last trip to the cottage was especially good and included swimming and visiting with many family members. She will be dearly missed by many and forever in our hearts. Thanks to Dr. Aviva Rothman-Wielinga, Dr. Tony Pacevicius, the staff of Halton Hills Veterinary, and Wendi Wolf (Borg) for their kindness.
