It will begin and end in the Georgetown Hospital courtyard. Hundreds of people from Halton Hills will follow a 5km course through Georgetown, featuring a stroll down Main Street and a hike through parks and along the trails that give Georgetown its distinctive character. After the walk, enjoy a lunch and fun activities for the kids, such as an award presentation featuring magic, clowns, prizes, face-painting and more. You won't want to miss the presentation of the $1,500 cash giveaway either. Registration is open at www.georgetownhospitalfoundation.ca or by calling the Foundation Office at 905-873-4599. 2010/11 Halton Healthcare Services Board of Directors The Board of Directors of Halton Healthcare Services is comprised of 11 elected members from the communities of Oakville, Milton and Halton Hills. In addition, there are eight ex-officio members including the President of the Corporation and appointments from the medical staff and the Towns of Milton, Oakville and Halton Hills. President's Cup Raises $45,000 The 2nd Annual President's Cup was held Monday, July 26, 2010 at the Club at North Halton. The event raised $45,000 for top priority medical equipment needed at Georgetown Hospital. Largest Donation to Date! This spring, the Georgetown Hospital Foundation received its largest single donation ever, a bequest of $300,000 from Vera Isobel Wallace. The Foundation will use the funds to improve patient care at Georgetown Hospital through the establishment of the Brigadier F.C. Wallace and Vera Isobel Wallace Fund.
