So the crowd started again. Still nothing. A third time. Nada. But all the false starts were soon forgotten when the water started flowing at the brand new Superior Glove Splash Pad in Acton's Prospect Park. Within seconds, the splash pad was overrun with kids as they laughed, played and explored the 33 jets and spray features, which includes one shaped like a giant golden fish. Acton residents can thank two local companies for the brand new splash pad: Superior Glove and Dufferin Aggregates both made major donations to the project, which was built on the site of the old Acton wading pool.
