George, loving husband of Marjory for 53 years. Dear father of Susan Milne (and Frank Mauceri) of Port Perry and David Milne and (Sue Milne) of Georgetown. Proud Grandpa of Emma, Megan, Sarah and Nolan. Survived by his sister, Ina Leslie of Scotland. George and Marjory came to Canada from Scotland in 1957. George joined the Plumbers and Steam Fitters Local 46 of Toronto upon his arrival to Canada. He worked in Toronto for 28 years before starting Milne's Plumbing in Acton in 1985. George took pride in everything he did, but his pride and joy were his grandchildren. The family invite friends, neighbours and coworkers to drop in at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 197, 15 Wright Avenue, Acton on Saturday, August 7th, 2010 between 1:00 and 4:00 pm to raise a toast and share some stories about a life well lived (the funeral and interment were private). Addie will be missed forever by her beautiful son, loving family, friends and students. A mother, educator and friend to many, Addie had a love for life, camping, laughing, travelling through Canada and teaching. She was always the first to say "Let's go" and the first to offer assistance in times of trouble. After a variety of jobs, he settled in the mushroom business and eventually came to Acton where he operated the McNair Mushroom Farm.
