West 7 Entertainment Centre Call 905-703-1118 Teaching Opportunities Moving and Storage Services Stuart Young (1920-2010) (Harold) Stuart Young passed away quietly in his 91st year at the Grand River Hospital in Kitchener, on Monday August 16th after a short episode of pulmonary distress. Stuart moved to Georgetown from his home in Stratford Ontario, before World War II to apprentice at Robb's Drug Store. During the war he was a member of the RCAF in England where he met and married Dorothy Scott. After the war he earned his Bachelor of Pharmacy degree at University of Toronto, spent a short while in Harrow Ontario and then returned to Georgetown, to Robb's Drug Store. He purchased Robb's and then incorporated it 1958 as Young's Pharmacy Limited. He operated it along with his partner Ken Milne until Stuart's retirement in 1970 when his son Neil joined the business. Stuart and Dorothy moved to the Acton Legion Seniors' Apartments in 1997. Stuart leaves behind Dorothy, his loving wife, constant companion and best friend for 66 years. He will be sadly missed by his children, daughter Gail of Vanderhoof, British Columbia, son Neil and his wife Ruth and son Brendan of Halton Hills, and his grandchildren Kevin and his wife Christy of Toronto and Derek and his wife Gillian of San Francisco. Stuart was predeceased by his five siblings, Jack Young of Niagara Falls, Helen Ritchie of Stratford, Jean Swift of Barrie, Muriel Steenson of Toronto and Bill Young of Welland. Visitation will be at the J. S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road in Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Thursday, August 19th from 2 PM until 4 PM and from 7 PM until 9 PM. A memorial service and reception will be held at the Jones Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Friday August 20th.
