"I wanted to be the first yoga studio in Georgetown," says Noelle Cormier, owner of Studio 2 for Yoga & Wellness. On a hot, sunny summer day last month, the sisters set up a lemonade stand on Delrex Boulevard where they sold glasses of lemonade and iced tea, as well as cookies, jewelry and bottles of water, with proceeds going to the Canadian Cancer Society. The girls had hoped to raise $150 and by 4 p.m. they were well on their way, having raised $133 to help in the fight against cancer. Great job!
