Seniors Centre invites all to an Auction By FLORENCE RIEHL Georgetown Seniors Centre An open invitation is extended to members and the public to our Wine and Cheese Auction on Saturday, October 23. A silent auction will take place from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and the live auction from 7-8:30 p.m. Tickets, $10, include wine and cheese and a bid number. Only 130 tickets will be available and may be purchased at the Centre or, if any are remaining, at the door. There are a wide variety of action items. *** The Bon Appetit Luncheons resume on Wednesday, Oct. 27 and the next one on Nov. 24. Limited seating is available. The cost is still $8. *** A murder has been committed at the Centre! You can help solve the mystery and bring the perpetrator to justice by joining with us at our first Murder Mystery Dinner on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011. The theatrical group, Mysteriously Yours from Toronto are coming out to our very own Centre! That's right! You don't have to travel outside Georgetown. This is the same group that entertains at the Old Mill and in Stratford. Cocktails are at 6 p.m. and dinner, including wine, served by Bruce Cunnington at 6:30 p.m. This event is open to the public and tables of six will be reserved.
