Haiti Heroes hailed Healing Hands for Haiti International was recently recognized by Physicians for Peace as one of its `Haiti Heroes'. The Haiti Heroes award was presented to local resident Eric Doubt, executive director of the organization and Lisa Bagley, Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse, a founding member for the organization's work in Haiti. The recipients are selected based on outstanding service and shared interest and collaboration with Physicians for Peace in Haiti. Healing Hands for Haiti delivers physical medicine and rehabilitation services to the more than 800,000 adults and children living with disabilities in Haiti.
