Tour of Lights Georgetown Seniors Centre to host set for Dec. 8 murder mystery dinner on Jan. 21 The Kinsmen Club of Georgetown hosts its annual Seniors Tour of Lights on Wednesday, Dec. 8. By FLORENCE RIEHL Georgetown Seniors Centre Now that we have had a light dusting of snow, and I heard today it is supposed to be a winter of lots of snow, I should remind you of Centre closures. The Centre will be closed if the Town Offices are closed. If you are in doubt always phone the Centre before you leave home to come out. There will be a message on the phone to tell of a closure. Thanks to the vendors and all who helped with the "Come Shop" event on Saturday. I'm thinking the weather had a lot to do with the small crowd in attendance. We have money waiting to be picked up by red ticket holder # 308110. This was a 50/50 ticket you purchased at the Centre Bazaar on November 20. You have not responded to our numerous telephone calls. If you have not picked it up by the end of December, it will be turned back to the Centre. There are only a few tickets left for the Christmas Turkey dinner on Tues- SENIORS LIFESTYLES Seniors Calendar 55+ Seniors Lunch will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 7 at the Salvation Army's Acton Community Church, 114 Mill St. E., Acton, starting at 11:45 a.m. RSVP, 519-853-1140. Grandmother to Grandmother North Halton group meets on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 7:30 p.m. at Martindale Gardens, 45 Martin St., Milton. New members most welcome.
