DEATHS DEATHS KASPRZYCKI, Edward On Saturday, January 8th, 2011 at Highbourne Lifecare in Etobicoke, in his 73rd year. Born to Peter and Josephine (Puzanska) on March 27th, 1938 in Montreal. Predeceased by brother John and sister Mary Starnino. Left to mourn his loss is his sister, June Rosin of Queensbury, New York; nephew John; nieces Lorraine and Bernice and their families in Montreal; cousins in New Jersey; and many in the Opatow region of Poland. A longtime resident of Brampton and later Georgetown, his career was that of an insurance salesman for Crown Life (now Canada life). Many of his clients, recognizing his honesty and good humour, remained personal friends. For many years he volunteered and was a mentor to Catholic youth in Halton. Always proud of his Polish heritage, he enjoyed a home-cooked Polish meal with relish. Golf was a passion until his health no longer permitted. Though he had a difficult life, fatherless at age one, constantly battling his weight, losing his independence after knee surgery, succumbing to lung cancer, he remained devout. Cremation has taken place. While he asked that there be no funeral, he requested a Memorial Mass at his home parish of Holy Cross Catholic Church, 224 Maple Ave. in Georgetown, to be held on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 5:00 pm. Interment will be at a later date at Prospect Cemetery in Toronto. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Condolences and memories may be forwarded through www.etouch.ca IN MEMORIAM THE family of Margaret McGill would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the many wonderful people who supported Margaret and our family throughout her illness and in the days since her passing on December 29th. We thought of you with love today, But that is nothing new, We thought about you yesterday, And days before that too. We think of you in silence, And often speak your name, Now all we have are memories, And your picture in a frame. And when we are sad and lonely, And everything goes wrong, We seem to hear you whisper, Cheer up and carry on. Your memory is our keepsake, With which we will never part, God has you in His keeping, We have you in our hearts. We love and miss you Beryl.
