GLT to hold auditions Sunday for spring play Georgetown Little Theatre auditions for the final production of GLT's 50th Anniversary season will be held Sunday, Jan. 23, 6 p.m. Award-winning director Kathryn DeLory is looking for five women and three men (age range 30-60) to play parts in Matthew Barber's adaption of Elizabeth von Arnim's novel Enchanted April. The play is set in various locales in London and Italy in the 1920s and revolves around a group of mismatched women all seeking peace, solitude and self-awareness. Auditions will consist of group script readings at the GLT Studio. Callbacks, if required, will take place the following week. No monologues are necessary, but there will be cold readings from the script. Please be prepared to audition with a British accent. Enchanted April will rehearse at the GLT Studio on Sundays (time TBD) and Tuesday and Thursday evenings (7-10 p.m.) starting February 22nd, until production week starting April 10.
