Joy was an inspirational woman, always with a smile, humour and compassion. At her side was her beloved husband of 34 years and soul mate, Steve. Mom to Lindsay and Melanie Gillians. Beautiful daughters who will carry on Joy's legacy with love and pride. Daughter of David Russell who will miss her terribly, and the late Gladys Russell. Sister and best friend of Carol Turfus forever filled with Joy's courage and love. Sister of the late Gary Russell who is always in our hearts. Cherished daughter-in-law of Ruth and Richard Gillians of Kitchener. Loved sister-in-law to Tom Turfus; Joy Russell; and David, Scott and Sandy Gillians. Sidelined with MS at the peak of her career as a Branch Manager at BMO, Joy continued her loving and positive approach to life despite the many obstacles she faced. A celebration of Joy's life will be held on Saturday, February 5th, 2011. A short service will be held at 2:30 pm in St. Alban's Anglican Church Parish in Glen Williams, 537 Main Street, Glen Williams, Georgetown, ON, L7G 3T1.
