Sullivan earned a gold medal in the 800m and a bronze in the 400m, while McDonald placed third in both the 100m and 400m events. Submitted photo Midget Raiders' series deadlocked Georgetown's Sunny Acre Farms Raiders are hopeful of closing out their Ontario Minor Hockey Association midget AA quarterfinal playoff series with Tecumseh-Shoreline on home ice this weekend. The best-of-5 series is tied 1-1 after the Raiders earned a split of games on the shores of Lake St. Clair last weekend, losing the opener 5-0 before rallying to take game two 5-4. Game three of the series will be held at the Alcott Arena Friday at 9 p.m., followed by game four here Saturday at 7 p.m., and if necessary, game five is set for 4:45 p.m. Sunday in Georgetown. In other OMHA playdowns, Georgetown's novice AE Raiders swept Milton out of the Group 1 quarterfinals in three straight games, capped by an 8-0 victory on home ice on Monday night, and are now waiting to find out their semifinal series opponent. The peewee AA Raiders were tied at one game apiece with Caledon in their OMHA quarterfinal matchup heading into game three Wednesday at Mayfield. Game four of the best-of-5 set will be played tonight (Thursday) at the Alcott Arena at 7:30 p.m. The minor midget AE Raiders beat guest Dundas 4-2 on Tuesday to take a 2-1 series lead in the best-of-5 OMHA Group 1-3 quarterfinal. Game four will be in Dundas Thursday and a game five would be played Saturday in Georgetown at 8 p.m. Rebels cruise past Central 7-1 The Geogetown Slo-Pitch League is looking for UMPIRES for the 2011 Season.
