She was 72. She was a native of Kirkland Lake, Ontario. She attended North Bay Teachers College in 1956-1957 and went on to teach primary school in the Sudbury Board of Education until retiring in 1994. She was until recently an active member of the Xi Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and attained the Golden Circle award for 50 years of service. She was also a member of The Eastern Star. She was a member of St. Stephen's On The Hill United Church. Beloved wife of the late John A. MacDonald (1990). Cherished mother of Don (Kara) of Georgetown, Scott (Tammy) of Sudbury and Ian (Joanna) of Brooklin. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Brenden, Hana, Mari, Haley, Aidan and Cordelia. She is lovingly remembered by her sister in law Joan Deleuze (nee MacDonald).
