I have a few more biographies to share with you this month. Michelle Lowe has lived in Halton Hills for 11 years and had worked as a child care worker for the Children's Aid Society and for the Catholic Children's Aid Society as a Relief Worker in group home settings. Michelle is a paraplegic from level T12 spinal cord injury. Michelle is struggling with daily chronic pain from nerve damage and extensive arthritis in most of her joints. Michelle is also dealing with Crohn's disease and has served on the committee for the last four years. Last year, I was the new kid on the block but that distinction is now shared by two new members of our committee. Wendy Farrow-Reed grew up in this community in a family of eight. Wendy and her family now reside in the house she grew up in. Wendy is a Human Resources Group Benefit Advisor working with Synergy Benefits. Although Wendy is not disabled, she will be a valued liaison between our committee and the Chamber of Commerce. Kirk Donaldson has "lived in the Andrew Tutty wonderful town of Georgetown" for over 16 years. Kirk has a right leg thru knee amputation and makes his way slowly around town using a prosthetic leg. He is currently employed at Admor Corporation as salesperson in the sales of overhead doors, man doors and controls, concrete and other various products and services. Welcome aboard. It is my turn. I have lived in Georgetown, on and off, since 1978. My work experience focused on Information Technology as an IT Security Auditor. I am visually impaired being diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa, a degenerative eye disease, in early 1987.
