The award recognizes the CtK community's dedication to student achievement and use of provincial assessment results to improve student learning, as well as the school's leadership, positive attitude and sincere effort to be successful. Both are members of the Bearcats volleyball team, and were chosen for their games against King's Christian College. Tribble, playing power, was cited for her excellent serving and strong hits. Crowe, playing middle, had a great hitting game. Georgetown District High School Athletes of the Week are Amy Pond and Brendan Bodiam. Pond, a member of the Rebels wrestling team, was selected for placing in the top 12 at OFSSA in the 51 kg class. Bodiam, the goaltender on the Rebels boys hockey team, was chosen for his strong goaltending during the season. Christ the King Catholic High School Athletes of the Week are Cam Jenkins and Mark Hurst. Both are members of the Jaguar's boys hockey team.
