18 Independent & Free Press,Thursday, April 14, 2011 Sheridan Nurseries aids trip to Disney The Stewart family of Georgetown accepted a donation on behalf of The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada from Sheridan Nurseries, as Kathryn, 8, (left) went on her wish trip to Disney in 2010. The donation was raised through Sheridan's "round-up" program, held during the 2010 holiday season, when customers were invited to round-up their bill to the nearest dollar in support of Children's Wish. Photo by Ted Brown Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) presented 36 awards in four categories at the annual Friends of the Credit Conservation Awards held at Brae Ben Golf Course, in Mississauga. CVC presented awards to: individuals; landowners; community groups; small businesses; corporations; municipalities; and agencies that have made a significant contribution to managing natural resources in the Credit Valley watershed.
