BELOW: Melissa Stewart, Donna Waller and Leslie Mininch sit back and enjoy music from the Georgetown Senior Centre Band. Links2Care volunteers had their cake and ate it too at the organization's annual volunteer appreciation celebration at the Ballinafad Community Centre on April 21. At this year's event, which had a theme of "Our Volunteers Take the Cake," the hard-working Links2Care volunteers were treated to live music from the Georgetown Senior Centre Band while they enjoyed sandwiches, punch, coffee and, of course, cake. "We feel that our volunteers are the sweetest people and do many sweet things in the community and we look forward every year to show them how much we value them," says Links2Care volunteer co-ordinator Patty Colautti.
