The 2 per cent salary increase for non-union staff is retroactive to January 1, and was included in this year's budget. The average wage increase among municipal employees in surrounding municipalities was 2 per cent. Other changes include: · The continuation of benefits for members of council until the age of 70 · A mileage rate change from 49 cents to 51 cents per kilometre.
