Maple motorcycle rider, 25, killed after bike leaves road A 25-year-old Maple man is dead after crashing his motorcycle on Winston Churchill Blvd., north of Hwy. 7 Wednesday night. Halton Police report shortly after 7 p.m. the 2002 Honda motorcycle, driven by the Maple man, left the road and crashed into a wooded area adjacent to the road near the entrance to Upper Canada College. The man, who held a full motorcycle licence, was taken from the scene by air ambulance to Sunnybrook Hospital with life-threatening injuries. He died early Thursday morning. Police did not release the man's name. Halton Regional Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the collision. Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Const. Kevin Rye or Det.
