The fair's theme will be horses and one of North America's top Percheron sixhorse hitches will be on display all weekend long. The hitch of black Percherons is owned by the Black family of Hillsburgh-- recognized as having one of the outstanding show hitches and being one of the premier Percheron breeders in North America. The fair runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Sept. 9-11) at Georgetown Fairgrounds, Karen and Ted Lada of Spring Gait Meadows will be bringing their three miniature horses including two-month-old miniature palomino Little Prince Charming who measured 19 inches tall at birth. The fair will also feature a new and improved midway run by Magical Midways. There will be some special midway pricing-- Toonie Friday and Family Celebration 2-for-1 Sunday. Admission to the fair is $15 for a weekend pass, Adults: $5 Friday and Sunday, and $8 Saturday. Children: 7 to 12 get in for $3, under age 6 get in free.
