Halton holds Special Waste Drop-off Day for electronic/hazardous garbage on Saturday Halton Region holds a Special Waste Drop-off Day on October 22 at Mohawk Raceway, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Special Waste Drop-off Days are established to make the recycling and safe disposal of household hazardous waste and electronic waste more convenient for residents. Acceptable items for drop-off include pesticides, paint, motor oil, antifreeze, propane tanks, computers, stereos, TVs, DVD players and VCRs. Residents may drop off these items free of charge.
