Ada Wynston, born in Amsterdam in 1936, Holocaust child survivor, was saved by several Christian families from the ultimate fate - murder by Nazis. 73 of her immediate family members perished in Auschwitz-Birkenau deathcamp. She immigrated to Canada in 1957 at the age of 21. For her volunteer work with Christian-Jewish Dialogue she was knighted by Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands in 1993 and received the Governor General Caring Canadian award from Adrienne Clarkson in 2002 for her work with the Canadian veterans. Free admittance. Refreshments will be served after the service.
