RIGHT: Not since 1985 has a Georgetown District High School team won a Halton girls' basketball championship and this year's junior Rebels came close to earning the Tier I title, bowing out to the undefeated Abbey Park Eagles 39-36 in the final. The junior Rebels also made the championship finals in five of the tournaments they entered this fall, winning the Collingwood Collegiate event.
