One of the most anticipated local curling events of the year took place at The Club at North Halton on November 12: the annual Dunlop Bonspiel. Hosted by Dunlop Insurance and the Dunlop family, the charity tournament draws teams from across the province for a relaxed day of laughter and curling. The competition was fierce and funny as 16 teams vied for the trophy and bragging rights, but the real winners were the Georgetown Hospital Foundation and United Way of Halton Hills, the two charities the bonspiel raised money for this year.
