With a total project cost of $142,000, the project provides a long awaited link across Silver Creek. Built between November-December last fall by contractor R&M Construction from Acton, the new 17-metre bridge spans Silver Creek. Contractor Grade Control from Glen Williams built the trail and boardwalk leading up to the new bridge. The 300-acre ravine in the middle of Georgetown contains hundreds of different plants and close to a hundred species of birds and some important fish habitat leading to the Credit River.
