Acton area landowners have given permission for the Guelph Hiking Trail Club to route a trail through their cedar forest which takes Section Seven of the Radial Line Trail off road for 1.5+ km. The Radial Line Trail runs from Guelph to Limehouse roughly following the old Radial Line railroad. Meet on Sideroad 25 at the Regional Road (Hwy) 25 intersection, at the newly installed stile. There is lots of parking on the side of Sideroad 25 with good sightlines. The hikes begin after a short 2 p.m. opening ceremony. This is a Tortoise and Hare hike, with a 2.5 hour hike for faster walkers and an easy 45-minute walk for those wishing a shorter hike length. Bring water and bug protection.
