35 ·The IFP· Halton Hills, Thursday, June 14, 2012 Mite Hawks tops at own tourney Jessie O'Donnell drove in Keigan McCullagh for the winning run in the bottom of the final inning to give the Halton Hawks a 1-0 victory over the Kitchener Klassics in the mite division (ages 9-10) championship game of the Hawks' 16th-annual tournament recently. The mite `red' Hawks went 5-1 at the tourney and received fantastic pitching performances in the final from Shelby Miller and Kristine Braun, who combined for a one-hit, 17-strikeout shutout. Last weekend, the Hawks also took top spot in the Gator Classic in Guelph, beating the Brampton Blazers 4-1 in the championship game to finish 5-0 at the tourney.
