The Tanners didn't give up, and Brian Secord got the home team on the score board assisted by Nickolas Ratchford and Dylan Vermeulen. With some good passing work defenseman Ben Gray fed a pass up to Austin Skelhorne then on to Ian with a scramble around the net for Ratchford's second goal of the night, assisted by Brian Secord and Jakob Cunningham. Carter Kavener fed the puck to Cameron Shoebridge who set up a perfect pass in front of the net to Jake Molinaro to give Tanners a 3-1 lead going into the third period. Dundas didn't give up and took advantage of a five-on-three advantage to draw within one goal. The Tanners regrouped and kept Dundas in their own end for the last two minutes of the game to hold on to the win.
