President Bev Jones chaired the meeting, and Halton Hills Supervisor of Community Development, Frank Prospero, was present and helped answer questions and assisted with the ballot. Frank has worked over the past several months with the Acton and Georgetown constitution committee to develop this new constitution. Georgetown Seniors Centre also held a special constitution meeting and they approved it as well. Another leaf was placed on the branches of the Looking to the Future trees on Wednesday morning by the hiking club in memory of Helen Elder's husband Lorne, who passed away just before Christmas. When I walked into the Centre last Wednesday afternoon the Tea Dance was in full swing. They were dancing a very energetic Gay Gordon's. Some had obviously danced it before, and others were busy learning the steps, but everyone was enjoying themselves. As I left they were getting ready to start to Jive and Line Dance.
