He was 54 years of age. He was the loving and much loved husband of Debbie and was very proud of his chosen children: Jamie Stewart and his wife Gosia, Jeff Stewart and his wife Lori and Rob Stewart. Brent will be missed by his mother-in-law, Betty Thomson and his sister-in-law, Marilyn McDonald and her son Chris and his wife Diane and their children Logan and Ashley. Brent had no siblings, however Diane Atkins was like a sister and her daughters Lisa and Jennifer were like nieces and Sheila Fry was a cherished friend. His feline friends Princess and Kiwii will also miss Brent. The family received friends at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill Street East, Acton, Ontario, on Friday, March 2nd, 2012 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Brent's life was conducted by Pastor Cameron Wilson in the "Shoemaker Chapel" on Saturday, March 3rd at eleven o'clock. Cremation followed at Evergreen Crematorium. Remembrances to The Canadian Cancer Society or the Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
