Novice BB Tanners strike gold again Just one week after capturing the OMHA Central Novice Championship title, the Chudleigh's Acton Tanners Novice BB team struck gold once again, taking the championship in the 2012 Doug Thomson Memorial Tournament in Milton last weekend. After earlier downing Meadowvale, Uxbridge, Erin-Hillsburgh and Georgina, they took a perfect 4-0 record into the final game against Erin-Hillsburgh, the same opponent they met in the OMHA finals. The game was hard fought by both squads but Acton pulled out the 2-0 win to take the Gold and close out a tremendously successful season.
