LOOKING GOOD: Thanks to the hard work of James Wegenast, owner of Reds Garden Centre, the Ballinafad Hall looked great for the volunteer appreciation reception held there last Thursday by Links2Care, whose volunteer co-coordinator, Patty Colautti, enjoyed the celebrations. Some of the many people who help make this community a nicer place to live were honoured for donating their times and talents to Links2Care at a volunteer appreciation reception last Thursday at the Ballinafad Hall. - Ted Tyler photos VOLUNTEERS HONOURED: Acton's Rene Arbic (top) and Ivan Kilby both received recognition for their long service ­ 35 years each ­ to Acton social services agencies, beginning with ASSSIC and now Links2Care, which held a volunteer appreciation receptions last Wednesday at Ballinafad Hall.
