Major Mosquito Eagles win tournament thriller Avenging a preliminary round loss to Peterborough, Georgetown's major mosquito Eagles bounced back to beat the same team 9-8 in a 12-inning thriller in the championship game of a recent youth baseball tournament in Barrie. The Eagles also took top spot at a tourney they hosted earlier this season, defeating North York 9-6 in the final. Catcher Zack Homes was named the Golden Glove recipient as the Barrie tournament MVP.
