The Bulldogs lost their opening game Friday 9-8 to Cornwall, but rallied from behind to beat the Hamilton Bengals 6-5 on a late goal by Brandon Usher. A 7-5 Halton Hills' win over Clarington Satuday in the final round-robin game set up a rematch for the Ontario Jr. C Lacrosse League championship on Sunday afternoon. In the final, the Green Gaels, who had lost just twice all season, held intermission leads of 3-1 and 6-3, with the Bulldogs unable to close the gap. Kyle Moore had a hat trick and three assists for Halton Hills, with Cory Highfield, Paul Davison and Patrick Reay adding single markers. In their inaugural season in 2011, the Jr. C 'Dogs made it to the semifinals.
