The driver did not stop, and a police spokesperson said he may have been unaware of what happened. Halton Hills Hydro worked to repair the line, which was still down as of Wednesday. A fourway stop has been temporarily set up. The intersection was closed for a few hours. Photos by Eamonn Maher Barbecue raises $12,000 for receptionist hurt in bizarre crash Approximately $12,000 was raised at a barbecue for Sheri Paré, the Georgetown woman who was injured when an SUV crashed through the front window of the Bao Institute For Healthy Living (formerly Atlantis Athletics) on July 31. The barbecue was held Saturday at the fitness centre located at 232 Guelph St. Paré, 36-- a single mother of two who works as a receptionist at BAO-- was released from Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto Saturday (Aug. 11) and is recuperating at her mother's home. She is hoping to be back at work by the middle of September. The fitness centre reopened last Monday (Aug. 13).
