Tennis Club gets grant The Halton Hills Tennis Club (formerly the Gordon Alcott Tennis Club) was recently awarded a $60,500 Ontario Trillium Foundation grant and president John Dallison accepted a plaque, recognizing the donation, from Halton Hills Mayor Rick Bonnette. The money will be used to renovate the 30-year-old clubhouse, now located at the new tennis courts in Gellert Community Park, to improve safety, efficiency and accessibility for the community. In addition, computer and tennis equipment will be bought to aid the members and staff in managing the club. The club is also now a member of the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Program-Halton Hills chapter.
