The Campaign, chaired by Brenda Sisnett, has set a $1 million goal to raise funds for the Halton Hills Cultural Centre and Library at 9 Church St. The $14 million project will create 51,000 sq. ft. of renovated and expanded space. It is targeted for completion in December 2012 and opening to the public in January. "Larry and I saw this as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to carry on the legacy that my mother began 31 years ago with her donation which created the John Elliott Theatre in my dad's memory," said Brenda Sisnett, President and CEO of Georgetown Terminal Warehouses, Elliott Custom Brokers and Storage and a longtime Georgetown resident. "The library, theatre and art gallery have always been special places to us and to this community.
